🌊 Red Tide Monitoring & Alert System
A real-time coastal telemetry buoy designed to detect Harmful Algal Blooms (HAB) in Palawan's waters. It continuously monitors pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity, broadcasting instantaneous emergency SMS alerts to local fisheries using a solar-powered off-grid ESP32 system.
Engineering Highlights:
- Automatic Warning Engine: Dispatches geolocation-linked alerts immediately.
- IP68 Watertight Enclosure: Designed fully custom in Fusion 360 with calculated buoy center of gravity.
- Energy Budgeting: Implemented active deep-sleep cycles powered by a single solar panel.
Autonomous Sumobot
Designed an combat sumobot inside the 200x200mm limit. Powered by Arduino Nano, driving dual H-bridge motors, utilizing infrared reflective sensors for edge detection and ultrasonic transducers for opponent locking.
Polvoron Vending Machine
A custom retail kiosk dispenser built with servos, load cell weight feedback (HX711), a non-blocking coin mechanism analyzer, and a dynamic OLED system dashboard displaying pricing and stock metrics.
Soil NPK Analyzer
Agricultural sensor device that hooks up to soil probes via Modbus RS485. Resolves Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium nutrient concentration values, displaying custom calibration curves on an LCD interface.
CTS PalSU V2 Analyzer
A professional Capacity Testing Station control system. Features independent load switching, current monitors, automated telemetry stream, and real-time logging for lithium-ion cell cycle analysis.
RehaStride Recovery Unit
Rehabilitation therapy device designed to deliver controlled mechanical motion for joint articulation. Arduino-driven stepper routines translate user menus into highly repeatable linear force limits.
